Joe Saunders

Joe Saunders is a part-time PhD student in the Department of History at the University of York where he is researching a social history of the print trade in England c.1550-1660. His work focusses on the wills of Stationers, printers and booksellers and their social networks. He is interested more broadly in print within the culture and economy of early modern England. Joe works as a freelance historical researcher, is a tutor for the online learning provider Pharos and the Centre for Lifelong Learning in York. In his spare time, he is a Trustee of the British Association for Local History.
